The Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan is the gateway to education in the Southern Punjab. The establishment of Ghazi University D.G. Khan is an important milestone in the history of higher education of Pakistan. The University is situated at the center of the city near Pull Daat and College Chowk. Ghazi University has proved as the realization of the cherished dream of the knowledge-seekers and has been warmly hailed at every forum. It was established by the Government of the Punjab by promulgation of constitutional enactment in 2012 but became functional as a full-fledged University on 11.06 2014.

The University’s statutory bodies have approved the initiation of Ph.D. degree programs in 10 different disciplines in conjunction with the induction of senior professors. The University is accepting applications for Ph.D. programs in agronomy and agricultural entomology starting in the fall of 2021. More than 9000 students have been admitted to 25 colleges located around the D.G. Khan Division, to which the university has granted affiliation. To give the residents of this area, as well as those in nearby Baluchistan and Sindh Province, access to higher education, the university plans to enlarge both its physical footprint and its degree offerings.

Admission Process:

Register at GU Web Portal:

Make an account using your CNIC and a functional email address. Emails including all pertinent information on your admission will be issued. You will receive an email to confirm your email address after registration. You can then log in with your CNIC by clicking the link provided in the email.

Apply Online and Submit Form:

Complete the application form after logging in; incomplete applications won’t be accepted.

Generate and Pay Voucher:

Please create a voucher for undergraduates (as well as BBAs and Eds for two years or more), pay at the closest branch of Allied Bank Ltd., and upload it to the GU Web Portal.

When applying for admission to MS, MPhil, M.SC.(Hons), or PhD programs, candidates with a minimum GAT score of 50% must upload their result card. Candidates must apply for departmental tests if they do not pass the GAT. (Test Fee: 1000/-)
