Eligibility Criteria:
General Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for admission to any bachelor’s degree program offered by the University, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Attainment of a minimum of 60% marks in Intermediate/DAE or an equivalent foreign qualification examination, excluding sports and Hafiz-e-Quran.
2. Participation in the Entry Test conducted by the University for the respective academic session.
3. Alignment of subject combination in the Entry Test with the candidate’s intermediate (or equivalent) subject combination, as admission consideration is limited to disciplines relevant to the subject combination. This condition doesn’t apply to DAE-qualified candidates.
4. For applicants seeking admission based on Sc. Engineering Technology or equivalent degree, attainment (or expected attainment) of at least 60% marks under the annual system or a GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 under the semester system.
5. Achievement (or expected achievement) of at least 50% of overall adjusted aggregate marks calculated according to the prescribed formula for Merit Calculation.
6. Proof of being a bona fide resident of the area from which admission is sought.
7. Compliance with the medical certificate’s standards for physique and eyesight.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
- For admission to B.Sc. Engineering Degree Courses, B.Sc. City & Regional Planning, B.Sc. Computer Science, Bachelor’s Degrees in Architecture and Product & Industrial Design, and S. in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, applicants must have passed the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) examination with Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics from a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.
- For Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, City & Regional Planning, Architecture, Product & Industrial Design, Mathematics, Physics, BBA, and other specified fields, Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science or Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics is acceptable.
- For Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, BBA, and BBIT, Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry is required.
- Candidates with Sc. Engineering Technology or equivalent degrees must have a degree relevant to the branch of engineering specified by the university for their desired admission.
- DAE-qualified candidates should hold a diploma relevant to the branch of engineering in which they seek admission.
- Candidates with Intermediate or equivalent qualifications in subject combinations other than those specified are only eligible to apply for BBA and BBIT programs.
