The (2nd) online registration for the UET ECAT Test 2024 has been announced by the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore.

One of the most important tests for students hoping to study engineering in Pakistan is the UET ECAT. This examination is meant to assess your understanding of mathematics, physics, and chemistry as well as your ability to solve problems in these subjects. The UET Combined Entry Test (ECAT Test) is required for admission to the B.Sc. Engineering and B.Sc. Engineering Technology programs at Punjab’s engineering institutes. The UET Lahore Entry test will take place at the designated locations from 13 May to 17 May 2024.

The admission exam for UET Lahore this year will be computer-based.

Entrance Test Date and Time:

The Entrance Test will In shaa Allah be held from Monday through Friday (le., May 13, 2024, to May 17, 2024) in the above Centers at the allotted time.

WHO CAN APPEAR IN THE ENTRANCE TEST?

Anyone can take the Entrance Test however; appearance on the Test does not confer the right to apply for admission to the Engineering Institute of Punjab.

GETTING ENTRANCE TEST TOKEN NUMBER:

The applicant needs to log on to our admission portal, admission.uet.edu.pk via a token or payment of 2,500/-. The token number can be obtained in two ways: (a) through HBL online banking if you are not an HBL account holder

(b) Through HEL KONNECT if you are not an HBL Account Holder. In either case, a token number is your challan number, which is valid until Thursday, May 02, 2024

OR
The applicant needs to log on to our admission portal, admission.uet.edu.pk via a token on payment of Rs.2,500/-. The token number can be obtained in three ways: (a) pay challan by visiting & UBL Brach anywhere in Pakistan, (b) through the UBL Mobile app if you are a UBL account holder (c) through UBL Omni if you are not a UBL account holder which is valid until Thursday, May 02, 2024.

ENTRANCE TEST ADMITS CARD:

The last date for data entry and generation of Admit Card online is Thursday, May 02, 2024. Reprint of Cards is permitted until the day of the test. Kindly visit this admission portal for instructions and Details.

STANDARD OF THE TEST AND SUBJECTS TO BE TESTED:

  • The Test would be of Intermediate level. It will be offered in the following combinations: (1) Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry: (2) Physics, Mathematics, English and Computer Science (3) Physics, Mathematics, English and Statistics and (4) Physics, Biology, English and Chemistry. The duration of the Test will be a hundred minutes. Ten questions will be related to English and the rest, i.e., ninety will equally be divided amongst the other subjects. Each correct answer is worth four points and for every incorrect answer, one point will be deducted. A minimum passing score in the Entrance Test is 33%.
  • The candidates should select a combination, from subjects in Intermediate for equivalent) above choices, depending on their subjects.
  • DAE qualified candidates can only choose from the following two options Physics, Mathematics, English, and Chemistry or Physics, Mathematics, English, and Computer Science.


SUPPORT FOR PRINTING OF ADMITS CARDS:

 If required, the candidate’s printer facility, available at any of the test Centers listed above, from Monday, April 01, 2024, until Thursday, May 02, 2024, between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a break for prayer, during working days.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • The last date for purchasing ONLINE tokens, data entry, and generation of admit cards is Thursday, May 02, 2024.
  • In shaa Allah, the official result of the entrance test will be declared, on the admission portal, on Friday, May 24, 2024.

REQUIREMENT OF PHOTO-1 TEST CENTER DURING ENTRANCE TEST:

Failure to present a Photo ID may result in expulsion from the Test Center. The following forms of photo IDs are valid(1) a Computerized Identity Card CNIC/NICOP, Or (2) a Matric/Intermediate certificate carrying Photographs, Or (3) a Juvenile Card issued by NADRA, Or (4) a Computerized domicile certificate bearing a photograph, Or (5) a Passport, Or (6) Statement of Entry in case of “A” Level.

INFORMATION

  • A candidate who misses the Entrance test during the allotted time slot will not be permitted to retake the exam.
  • Since the test is fully automated, no re-checking facility will be provided
  • Entrance test tokens once purchased can’t be refunded at any stage whether utilized or not.
