Kohat Division Development Project (KDDP), scholarships Programs

Under the Kohat Division Development Project (KDDP), the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is offering fully funded through the Department of Higher Education, Archives & Libraries for the academic year 2023–2024. These scholarships cover all educational costs, including a monthly stipend, as long as the selected institution or disciplines meet the requirements.

Only those who now reside in Kohat, Karak, or Hangu may apply. The candidates had to be eligible for admission to any of the recognized educational establishments. The candidate cannot be the recipient of any other scholarships. Additionally, the applicant must meet the BISP-NSER Calculation poverty score range of 0 to 40.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only Kohat, Karak & Hangu domicile holders.
  • Qualified for admission in any of the Approved Institutions.
  • Not in receipt of any other scholarship.
  • Shall fall in poverty score range 0-40 as per BISP-NSER calculation.

Following copies of attested documents are necessary with the application form otherwise application not be entertained.

  1. CV
  2. Qualification Certificates from Government Board or Training Institute duly attested by Gazette Officer.
  3. Two passport size photographs duly attested from a Gazette Officer.
  4. Attested Photocopy of Father/Guardian CNIC

How to apply:

  • The KDDP scholarship application is available from the aforementioned universities for interested applicants.
  • A completed scholarship application form must be sent to the relevant university with the necessary supporting documentation.
  • According to their entrance wet% and on a merit basis, students must be admitted to any of the aforementioned recognized programs at the participating universities.
  • The Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) shall assess all potential candidates’ applications within 15 days of the date specified by the relevant university.
  • If incorrect information is provided, the scholarship will be canceled.
  • Applications sent directly to the HED office or the KDDP or Management Unit will not be accepted.
