The University of Haripur Admission Spring 2024

An important turning point in the history of higher education in the Hazara region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan which includes the international Karakorum Highway was the founding of the University of Haripur (UoH). The establishment of UoH was highly motivated, and potential parties were largely in agreement about the course that a project of this kind should take.

The incentive can be reinforced by (unofficially verified) projections that, once the planned academic and physical infrastructure is completed, 8,000–10,000 students should be enrolled in the university in 2017–18. Strong Islamic foundations in education at all levels are vital for the country as a whole, and we sincerely feel that the goal of education should be to produce morally upright, principled leaders who will serve their country.

Mission:

  1. One goal is to give worthy pupils a top-notch education that will help them develop good attitudes toward national development.
  2. To create a community of exceptional academics, educators, and support personnel to foster and preserve intellectual distinctiveness.
  3. To encourage scientific research to achieve excellence in a range of academic subjects.
  4. To exchange experiences for academic and research excellence, the fourth goal is to develop a network and coordinate with premier national, regional, and international institutes.
  5. To support the country’s growth by incorporating the results of scholarly research into national policies and initiatives Core Values.

Test Information:

Important guidelines for all candidates:

  • For admission to the BS/BS Fifth Semester and Diploma Programs, there will be no entrance exam.
  • A candidate must have a BS degree (or an equivalent 16-year qualification) with a CGPA of 3.0/4.0 in a semester system or first division (60%) in an annual system in order to be considered for admission to any of the university’s PhD programs. Additionally, a candidate may be admitted to a PhD program with an MS, M.Sc., MPhil, or comparable degree.
  • Before the interview, all candidates for PhD programs must pass the GRE type non-subject entry exam, which is a requirement for PhD admission.
  • It is recommended that applicants interested in pursuing a PhD visit their department in order to meet with and get written approval from their potential supervisor.
  • Within one month following the provisional admission, foreign candidates must submit their equivalence certifications from HEC and IBCC.

Entry TEST Composition and Guidelines:

  • The GRE general type will be the entrance exam for the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs.
  • This paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with English accounting for 40%, Analytical Reasoning for 30%, and Mathematics for 30%. The test will last two hours.
  • Three sections will comprise the test: Verbal Reasoning, Analytical, and Quantitative.
  • 50% will qualify for MS/MPhil admission, while 60% will qualify for PhD admission.
  • Upon verification of their passports or CNICs, the candidates will be permitted to take the test. To prevent impersonations, no alternative identities will be accepted. If a candidate loses their CNIC, they must present a copy of their NADRA slip as proof that they applied for a new one and a picture ID.
  • The UOH monitoring teams will be permitted to enter the test centers’ examination rooms in order to keep an eye on the transparency system.
